Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup Policy
The Grainery ships to all lower 48 states. The Grainery currently does not ship international.
Certain restrictions prevent us from shipping products to all geographical locations.
All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. Shipping is through USPS Certified Mail or UPS Ground. If expedited shipping is needed, please call for pricing.
The Shipping and Handling Fee (S/H) is priced in a three tiered flat rate based on order size.
1st Tier: Orders $0-$9.99 : $4.95 flat rate S/H fee
2nd Tier: Orders $10-$99.99 : $9.95 flat rate S/H fee
3rd Tier: Orders $100 and Up :$14.95 flat rate S/H fee
Order cut off for same day shipping is 2:00 PM EST. All shipping orders placed after will be processed the next business day, excluding holidays and blackout dates.
The Grainery is not responsible for any delays or loss as a result of the package mailing service, aka USPS or UPS. Please contact the appropriate mailing service with your tracking information to resolve the delay or loss.
Backordered items will ship to the address provided at checkout. Any change in address must be provided to The Grainery prior to the ship date. To request a change in address, contact the Grainery at email@example.com.
If the order arrives damaged, a shortage with the order occurs, or a return is requested, contact The Grainery immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 260-724-3709. We will do our best to resolve any issues.
Damage/Shortage Claim: We will resolve any damage/shortage claims within 5 business days. Once the claim has been verified, a replacement will be shipped. Refunds can be made upon request. If the order cannot be replaced due to stock limitations, a refund will automatically be sent to the customer.
Returns: If you are unsatisfied with the order, please contact us for return information and shipping instructions. Once the order has been returned and verified to be in retail condition (no damage), a refund will be made to the customer.
The Grainery offers hand delivery to select locations in the surrounding area from our Decatur, IN store. We require a phone number or email address for the recipient to deliver. All attempts will be made to contact the recipient to arrange a time for delivery, unless requested by the sender not to do so. If the recipient DOES NOT respond to attempts at contact, we will leave the order at a protected location at the main entrance of the delivery location. All orders must be delivered within 1 business day of the scheduled delivery date.
Once DELIVERED, any damage or loss is the responsibility of the RECIPIENT. If an issue arises, please contact us at 260-724-3709.
COVID UPDATE: Non-contact delivery is available upon request. Please note any delivery requests in the “Card Message - Order Instructions” form in the main cart menu. We will do our best to fulfill the request.
Three tier pricing is based on zip code.
1st Tier: $4.95 – Zip Codes: 46733
2nd Tier: $9.95 – Zip Codes: 46773, 46745, 45898, 46772, 46714, 46711, 46731, 46777 *Note* (Orders $19.99 and lower will incur a $5.00 Fuel Surcharge Fee)
3rd Tier: $14.95 – Zip Codes: 46801, 46802, 46803, 46804, 46805, 46806, 46807, 46808, 46809, 46814, 46815, 46816, 46818, 45891
A Pickup option is available at our main store location: 217 N 1st St Decatur, IN. Orders can be picked up at the front counter in the greenhouse or can be taken to a vehicle in our parking lot. Please specify in the “Card Message - Order Instructions” in the main cart menu which you would like.
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST
