Rudbeckia - 'Prairie Sun' Black Eyed Susan

Size: Quart Pot

‘Prairie Sun’ has large flowers from mid-summer through fall. Butterflies and soldier beetles are common visitors to these flowers.  The single flower heads are 5” in diameter, with gold ray flowers (petals) and a light green, button-like center. The petals are a rich golden-yellow-orange at the base and soften to lemon-yellow at the edge.

Flowers just keep coming all season long from late spring to early fall, so cut the flowers for bouquets and enjoy.  The flowers, which bloom continuously from mid-summer into fall, are held on sturdy stems and make excellent cut flowers. Attractive to butterflies and other insect pollinators. Will self-seed freely in the garden, and returns true to type.
